Prices do not include fabric.
Louisa K does not make garments from commercial patterns. All patterns are made to suit each individual customer’s requirements and measurements.
All custom garment prices include: patternmaking, fabric cutting, sewing, fitting, mockup materials, standard zips/buttons/elastic, thread.
If you choose a delicate fabric, fabric with a border print, or stripes that need to be matched, the cutting time on your quote will be doubled. This is due to the extra time required to lay and cut these fabrics correctly.
Custom garment pricing is based on making one garment at a time. If you are wanting multiple garments from the same base pattern, the cost per garment will go down.
Louisa K does not alter or make any kind of swimwear, lingerie or dance costumes, as I have little experience in these areas.
